It appears the belly button really is a button, and one of its functions is to engage the flailing arm mechanism!

This has been a long ongoing collab between Feather Dancer and I, as well as Sig-nal who greatly helped with the issue of making the back look properly, which has been going on and off for one year in the making :P And since it hasn't been worked on in a while, and the current state is a bit more presentable, I've been wanting to stick it up on here too. But it has gone on hiatus indefinitely yet again as we struggle with arms and hands.
